Wood Security Doors 1

Wood security doors are quite popular among shoppers because these doors simply look better than their vinyl or steel counterparts. When many people hear the words security door, they instantly think of an old fashioned looking steel door and the truth is that those doors are no longer popular. Today shoppers want something that offers protection while also looking good and that’s what the China Simoto Group hopes to provide. These companies believes in letting their designs do the talking, to the point where they actually don’t name the doors but give them a basic model number instead.

Their XD-SN17 is a great example of this. While customers wouldn’t expect much from a door with that simple name, they’re actually getting a great design. Wood slats are turned to a 45 degree angle to create an eye pleasing them. Behind and inside this door customers will find a rolled steel plate that provides the ultimate in home protection. The door is nearly two inches thick and comes in three sizes: 30, 32 and 36 inches thick.

The XD-SN18 is also known as the Minimalist and its name describes it perfectly. This isn’t for those who want something highly designed and something that draws a lot of attention because it simply won’t do that. This is one of the most basic security doors on the market, simply a plain door that customers either love or hate. Rolled steel is used to create the base of the door and then covered in wood for a sleek and plain design. The door comes in only one size, which is the standard 32 inches wide by 80 inches tall.

The look of the XD-SN2 is a little more designed than the last one, but still fairly plain and lacking a lot of ornamentation. Measuring 30 inches by 80 inches, it comes in only one color, a plain white shade. Inside the door is a rolled steel base that adds an extra layer of protection beyond the door lock and the thick door. Wood slats are laid out on the front of the door to create a slight design to this wood security door.

In response to the demands of their customer base, the company created another white wood security door, known as the XD-SN3. This door contains more decoration than the previous model, without going overboard or turning off customers. This one has the same rolled steel interior and measures two inches wide, thirty inches across and eighty inches tall. Those dimensions allow it to be used as both an exterior door and an interior door. It also opens out and to the right, which is a rarity in the world of security doors. It also contains several rolled pieces of wood along the side that create a nice design.

The XD-SN22 was created for those craving something a little more traditional, without sacrificing any security or protection. This wood security door has the rolled steel interior, which is the finest in protection, but the outside has a classic and elegant looking wood design. Wood panels and a large circular pattern make this look like a traditional entryway door, but it’s actually a carefully disguised security door. At two inches thick, 30” wide and 80” tall, it fits most doorframes.

Those who want something a little less expensive should look to the XD-SN19, which is one of the more inexpensive models from the company. The company still uses a rolled steel interior, but offsets the cost by using PVC piping in other areas of the door, most notably along the door frame. This door has the same dimensions as their other offerings, but is significantly lighter because of the PVC. This also makes the door a little cheaper to ship, for those worried about shipping costs. It still features a classic design of rectangular wood slats of different sizes across the front.

This same company makes the highly decorated XD-SN21 model, which was made in response to those customers who thought some of their other designs were too basic or plain. This one has a large arched design carved into the top of the design, which travels all the way to the bottom. It fits into traditional doorframes with a size of 32 inches wide and 80 inches high. It also measures two inches wide, which means it will also fit inside houses and can be used as an interior door. It also contains the interior core made of rolled steel.

These doors provide a wide variety of looks for those who want a security door, but don’t want those around to know it’s a security door. These looks range from the classic and traditional to the contemporary and plain. It really lets the customers pick a door that not only fits their home, but their personal preference as well.
