The XDZ-605 is their most popular product and one look at this wood security door explains exactly why. This is easily one of the best looking all wood security doors that any company has ever made. Small pieces of wood are carved into circles and laid across the bottom to create a fantastic design thats offset by four wood slats running perpendicular to the door.
This door starts out as a simple steel frame, but is then filled with MDF wood. The steel provides top of the line security, while the wood creates an eye pleasing design. Unlike other doors that tend to look heavy or bulky, this one looks lighter and more like an entryway door as opposed to a typical security door. This model comes in three sizes: 30, 32 and 36 inches wide.
The XD-SN20 is unique in that it almost looks like a traditional wood door, with an arched design on the top and two rectangular wood panels on the bottom. Go beyond that exterior and customers will find that it also contains a rolled steel frame inside the door. PVC is used on top of the frame to keep the costs low and this same material is also used on the decorations on the front of the door. This design is actually a veneer skin made to look like wood and applied on top of an MDF door, which itself is on top of a rolled steel frame. Customers send their measurements to the company and the door is custom made for those specific sizes.
The use of computers is quickly catching on in the world of security doors and that definitely holds true for the XDG-706. Computer lasers are used to carefully carve the traditional six panel design into the front of the door. A rolled steel cage in the middle of the door is filled with fir wood and then covered in MDF though customers can also choose the more expensive all wood design as well. It also contains a small peephole so those inside the house can look out and see who is at the door.
