The Atlas steel security door from
Columbia features high grade steel and three hinges on the left hand side of the door that are tamper resistant. The hinges can also be removed and switched to the right side if the shopper desires. Five vertical and three horizontal iron tubes of 1/2” run across the face of the door while a delicate scroll pattern entices the viewer’s eye. A steel mesh sheet is firmly attached to the back of the door to keep the homeowner safe and it comes in either a black or white color. In addition this color is powder coated on to ensure that it lasts for years to come. The door stands 80” tall and is available in 32” wide or 36” wide.
Columbia is also responsible for the Atrium steel security door. This door comes in only one size, which is the standard 36” by 80” size and is only available in white. Like other types of
Columbia steel security doors, the color is backed in so it resists chipping and fading. Three hinges keep the door in place even during strong winds and the hinges are reversible for those who prefer the door to open in the opposite direction. The Atrium has a classic yet simple design made of 1/2” metal tubes bent to create a large oval in the center of the door. Attached to the back is a high grade steel mesh for an added layer of protection.
The Sunset Double steel security door is a one of a kind creation from
Columbia. This door is made of high grade steel, but is only available as a two door model. Just imagine how this would look on a patio or even a large entryway. This door is available in three different colors: white, black and Navajo, which is a light brown shade. The colors are all baked in during a secretive process to keep them looking great for years to come. The doors are 80” tall and available in three sizes: 60, 64 and 72 inches. This is essentially a double door, which means homeowners that want to expand them should double the width of their existing door. It also features half-inch steel tubes radiating from a central point to create a fantastic sunburst or sunset pattern.
The Essex 2007 is a model that
Columbia recently upgraded to make it a little more modern. In the past this was one of their biggest sellers, but the dark metal and traditional design made it look a little harsher and less appealing to younger customers. The new model was changed slightly to make it more friendly and inviting. Four vertical tubes of one-half inch provide security, while curved tubes create a more friendly approach with a scrolled design. Behind the tubes is a sturdy wire screen that adds even more security and protection. Currently the Essex 2007 is only available in black and only comes in the 36” size that measures 80” top to bottom.
Columbia also remodeled and updated their Garrison steel security door to make it the Garrison 2007 model. This white steel security door is almost as simple and basic as a security door can get. Five one inch metal tubes lay horizontally, while two longer pieces sit vertically on the door. Placed behind the steel pieces is a steel mesh grille that allows the homeowner to look out, but stop people outside from gaining access without their permission. Three reversible hinges come with the Garrison 2007 so the owner can hang it anyway they want and change the way the door swings. The Garrison 2007 steel security door is currently only available in the standard size of 36 inches by 80 inches and only comes in white.
